As an international award-winning artist, Amy brings her professional artistic knowledge and years of hands-on experience directly into the classroom. Her teaching goes beyond simply demonstrating techniques or asking students to reproduce a finished example. She teaches students to understand how and why an artwork comes together—from the initial idea and composition to technique, color, detail, and final expression.

Every class combines personal attention, hands-on instruction, professional techniques, and constructive artistic feedback. Amy adapts her guidance to each student’s level, experience, and abilities, helping them overcome challenges while gradually developing greater confidence, independence, and creative control.
